How I ended up designing a System for five Bitcoin Units
How I came to construct logos for five Bitcoin Units. I work as a professional graphic designer. My boyfriend is in the bitcoin world. About a year ago he suggested me to create a Satoshi logo, because so far a few already existed but none caught on yet and most in the Bitcoin scene simply wrote either sat or satoshi or spoke of 0.0000002 Bitcoin. I started to design several logos, but none of them was to my full satisfaction. Last week I wanted to create a t-shirt with the Bitcoin logo again and discovered the folder with the designs for the Satoshi signet. So I started again from scratch and designed first a signet only for Satoshi (that was before I knew about all the units). You can see the old site here old satoshi website . So when I learned about all the units, I had to create a whole design-system. You can read everything (thoughts, how i constructed the signs...) in the pdf. down there.

The Satoshi logo was designed by me with the purpose to serve as a signet, logo or currency symbol for five of the Bitcoin Units (Bit, Millibit, Satoshi, Millisatoshi) to
complement the B of Bitcoin. For the same purpose as the cent sign stands to the dollar or to the euro.
